The Project

The C4WX robot is a homemade robot, which is designed in order to detect earthquakes. This robot is being made with new technologies, such as Arduino and sensors that generate acoustic and visual signals when it detects some type of telluric movement, in order to alert those with physical or hearing limitations. During the development of the first robot I had little knowledge in technology, therefore I made it with very simple and homemade materials. To improve this version and achieve a more functional robot, I set out to research and learn new technologies (electronics and programming). In addition, it was necessary to invest money for the acquisition of new components. If I had time and financial resources, I would add an event registration software to my robot where the robot saves the history of telluric movements in the cloud and these can be consulted through the network
