Sentiment Trading Bot

The Project

Following the news about WallStreetBets and how a group of people used social media to influence the stock market and specific stocks, I decided to investigate how social media can be used to choose investments for an automated investing bot written in Python and published as an open-source project on GitHub. The idea is to offer it for free to charitable institutions that invest their donations before putting them to good use. Could the program beat a random portfolio? ** Something I didn't mention in the video is that I used the Twitter web service to search for tweets about the candidate stocks.
