My project is a fun approach to learning and showing what a kid can do with Scratch.

I wanted to incorporate the original Scratch cat with a project that showed a character learning about Eearth, but I wanted to give it a twist. To do that, I messed around with the gradient colors, gave her eyelashes and earrings and… Tada! Mrs. Scratchy.

Several things were quite difficult. It was difficult to get the location just right, so it was a lot of trial and error. Also, there is a lot of interactive stuff in my project, so I had to make sure it didn’t say anything wonky.

If I had more time, I would like to have the characters show Mrs. Scratchy around Earth. Also, there were some minor details I was planning on editing, (background, timing, color, etc.)
