Team Comments

We came together as a group with the initial aim of making life easier for people.​ We learnt that many deaf people who use sign language as their main form of communication are reliant on someone else around them understanding sign language. ​ With this is mind we decided to help create a solution.

We have found many challenges while making our project. For example, we have found that to successfully complete our project we need a greater time period then the one we have been set. Our project also requires that we ourselves learn Irish sign language in order to correctly translate the signs.

To improve our project, we have a number of ideas and features that we could implement in the future such as translating spoken English to sign language to allow bilingual communication. This could add a lot of depth to the project both with someone using it for communication and in education.
