YTrashCan

The Project

Our project mainly is about making it easier and less messier while taking out the trash and putting in the trash bag. The way YTrashCan works is you put the trash bag in normally, you close it then by pushing down a button on the bottom of the trash can with your foot. Once it fills up you will then step onto the other button located right next to the other button and that will make it so it raises the trash bag inside so its ready for you to just grab it and throw it away. The YTrashCan makes life easier with just the click of 2 buttons.

Team Comments

We chose to make this project because we saw that it would help solve a daily problem many people have, that being people getting their hands dirty and putting more effort then needed whilst taking the trash out.

What me and my team found difficult was the process of creating an idea to solve a daily problem people have. We got over this but then a more challenging task came up and that was the scratch project. There were a lot of errors, mistakes, etc, while completing the YTrashCan scratch.

If there is something me and my team would do differently about the YTrashCan if more time was given is that we would add more details and information about YTrashCan on the scratch. We would also add more coding to make the scratch look and function better.
