Smart Motion light

The Project

We made a Smart Motion Light using an ESP32, motion sensor, LED light, resistor, and Dupont wires with a customized mobile and web dashboard/controller. The motion sensor can tell when someone is moving, and it turns the light on automatically. We learned how to build circuits, connect wires, and code the ESP32 to make the project work. This project shows how technology can help people in everyday life. One difficult part of this project was getting all of the wires connected correctly and making sure the code worked with the motion sensor. Sometimes the light would not turn on, or the sensor would detect motion at the wrong time, so we had to test and fix our project many times. Another challenge was learning how to use the ESP32 because it was new to us. In the future, we could upgrade our project by adding more LED lights, making the light brighter, or adding a buzzer alarm for extra safety. This project helped us learn more about coding, electronics, and teamwork.
