The Project

【What this project is about】 This project is a Minecraft parkour game made up of three connected stages: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Players must clear each stage in order while facing increasingly difficult challenges. Beginner Stage In the beginner stage, players use Elytra and fireworks to fly at high speed through rings placed in the air. This stage focuses on speed, precision, and smooth flying control. Intermediate Stage In the intermediate stage, players must jump onto moving blocks with precise timing. Players need to carefully watch the block movements and react quickly to continue forward. Advanced Stage In the advanced stage, players must sprint across pressure plates at high speed while avoiding falling into the void. One mistake can cause players to fall, making this the most intense and difficult challenge in the game. 【What inspired it】 I wanted to create a parkour experience where players could gradually improve their skills through multiple difficulty levels. I was also inspired to combine different Minecraft action mechanics such as Elytra flight, moving platforms, and high-speed running into one connected adventure. By making each stage feel unique, I wanted players to stay excited and challenged until the very end. 【What was difficult】 The most difficult part was balancing the difficulty of each stage. I tested the jump distances, speeds, and obstacle placements many times to make the progression from beginner to advanced feel natural and fair. The advanced stage was especially challenging to design because I needed to find a speed that felt intense while still giving players enough time to react.
