The Project

Introducing. . . MelodyCanvas, a virtual reality platform that enables students to share artwork, view galleries, and engage with a creative community. Motivated by the harsh and lonely times of the pandemic, I decided to make MelodyCanvas to give a students a space where they will not have to worry about traditional barriers limiting artistic connection and interaction. The system integrates Firebase authentication, AI-based content validation, and immersive gallery environments to create an accessible and interactive artistic space. The main challenges of building MelodyCanvas included building realistic 3D environments, ensuring accurate originality checks, and maintaining acceptable load times when retrieving artwork from cloud storage. These challenges were examined and fixed through experiments measuring AI classification accuracy and gallery performance. Ultimately, MelodyCanvas proves to be a promising way to support artistic development and cultural connection through accessible digital tools.
