Hello everyone! My name is shrouk & my friend Ahmed, and I’m excited to present GenShield: HANA. HANA stands for Hereditary Analysis & Notification Assistant. It is an AI-powered bioinformatics platform designed to transform breast cancer screening, specifically for the Egyptian population." (The Problem & Motivation) "In Egypt, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women. Unfortunately, 38% of cases are detected at very late stages. In a country with limited medical resources, we cannot screen everyone randomly. We need a way to identify those at the highest risk before it's too late." (The Innovation: Why HANA?) "What makes HANA unique is that it is the first AI tool calibrated on the Egyptian Genome. While most global tools rely on Western data, HANA analyzes specific genetic markers like BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations found in our population. It acts as a 'smart highlighter,' focusing medical attention on women who need urgent help." (How it Works) "The application works in four simple steps: User Input: The patient enters their age and detailed family history. Mutation Analysis: Our algorithm cross-references this data with Egyptian mutation frequencies. Risk Calculation: It generates a personalized risk score (Low, Moderate, or High). Clinical Guidance: Finally, it provides clear recommendations, like urgent specialist referrals or routine screening." (Scientific Foundation) "Beyond just data, HANA is built on studying the Cellular Microenvironment. We analyze how specific conditions lead to mutations in genes like TP53, PALB2, and CHEK2. This scientific depth ensures high accuracy in predicting hereditary risks." (The Vision) "Our vision is to provide this life-saving technology to developing nations worldwide, like Pakistan and others facing resource scarcity. We believe that every woman, regardless of her income, deserves the chance for early detection. Because early detection doesn’t just save lives it saves families."
