The Project

This project was created to help people stay safe in homes that use Liquified petroleum gas (LPG) by knowing when there is a gas leak in their homes. It was inspired by a serious problem: many families that use LPG cannot easily tell when gas is leaking, and this can lead to dangerous fires or accidents. As a young African boy learning to code, I wanted to use technology to solve a real-life problem in my community. The most challenging part of this project was learning how to write the code and make everything work together, but I did not give up. I kept learning, testing, and improving my idea. This project shows that even young people can use coding to make a difference and help protect lives.
