The Project

CareBridge is a app that helps people quickly learn more about possible health issues by typing in symptoms or body part names. It shows useful videos, news, and images from trusted sources like Google and YouTube. It also saves past searches so users can look back at them later. What inspired us to make the app is that we wanted to make something helpful for families with lower incomes or people who don’t have easy access to a doctor. This app gives people a simple way to get reliable information fast. One of the hardest parts was finding free tools (APIs) that give us the right information. Many websites charge money or don’t allow much usage.
