Homeschooling Robot-Rewarder
The Project
During lockdown home schooling, I found it very hard to concentrate and to stay motivated. I made the Homeschooling Robot-Rewarder to make home schooling more fun by giving school children a treat when they get more than ten tricky questions right. I coded a maths test in Scratch that triggers a pin on the Lego EV3 brick connected to a motor which turns a gear to open the box lid. This could be adapted using cloud variables to so teachers could remotely open their students treat boxes through the internet when home schooling. In future I will add other subjects such as spelling, grammar, and history.
