Voice-to-Code
The Project
First Lego League Challenge (FLL-C) robot games is currently not accessible to Low Vision kids. The First Lego League Challenge (FLL-C) requires kids to navigate a field that is 93” by 45” with various Lego mission models placed on the mat using a Lego robot with attachments that is programmed to complete missions on the field. A program was built using ChatGPT to generate code to allow a low vision kid to participate in a FLL-C team using voice to code. It uses a limited language model to drive a robot to move forward, backwards, turn left and right with voice commands.
Judge Feedback
A very unique and complex topic. Highly appreciate the efforts put in this project and is socially beneficial for students with low vision.
