The security system uses an ultrasonic sensor to monitor the distance to potential intruders. When the sensor detects an object (e.g., a thief) within a predefined range, it triggers a buzzer and a red LED to alert the presence of an intruder.

Calibrating the ultrasonic sensor for precise distance measurement was challenging. Multiple tests with varied thresholds and sensor placements were conducted to ensure accurate detection and minimize false alarms, improving the system's reliability and effectiveness.
