The Project

This project addresses the informational gap and resources within the snowboarding community — especially novices. Our research has shown that day-ticket holders were the most injured of all customer-types, with most injuries occurring as the result of falls on marked terrains. This leaves a bad impression on novices to the world of snowboarding, discouraging them from returning to snow sports. More often than not, novices struggle to pick up snowboarding because they don’t know where to start; gear listings, resort recommendations, comprehensive guides are common concerns. These mistakes wind you up in emergency rooms in the absence of appropriate gear and a seasoned instructor. The unique value of our project is its simple application to craft the perfect experience. The app is simple to apply into the snowboarding experience, and gives novices positive impressions by showing them “how its done”.
