Smart Door Operator Bus

The Project

"We created a prototype specifically designed for bus stops. We connected the distance sensor to Raspberry Pi. This sensor identifies individuals standing inside the bus door. When the door is closed, the servo motor becomes active, rotating 90 degrees. Additionally, an LED light turns on to inform the bus driver that the door is closed. We used the Python language to program the distance sensor. If anything obstructs the doors, the Raspberry Pi immediately sends a signal to the servo motor to rotate 90 degrees, automatically closing the door. The LED light indicates to the bus driver that the door is closed. "
