Rani's Friend

The Project

Rani's friend comes to her home to enquire why she is not coming to school, and if she is sick. Rani's mother informs her that Rani won't go to school anymore, because her marriage has been fixed. Rani's friend makes a stand, tells the mother about Rani's dream to become a doctor. She also tells her how she could be jailed if she went ahead child-marrying her daughter. In this way, she stops the marriage. (conversation in the local language - Odia)

I wanted to highlight the importance of education, and also enlighten people about not supporting girl child marriage.

It worked out well. There was more dialogue. I just had to sync that well.

I would have liked to put an elaborate storyline - more characters talking.
