We chose to make this project because...

This has been an issue for decades now; however, we started taking notice of this problem when we saw multiple videos of people being caught spiking people's drinks in bars, clubs, or people's houses.

What we found difficult and how we worked it out

The most difficult part while making this project was trying to make the entire build smaller so it wouldn't be too bulky.

Next time, we would...

I would add a photoresistor and an "and" command so if the cup was forced open the light would reach the resistor even though the lock status was on, setting off an alarm.
