The Project

Our first adventure using our brand new BBC Micro:Bits. After a one hour tutorial the amazing PHPS CodeClub students planned, designed and created a truly stunning set of rucksack prototypes. The whole aim of the project was to freely explore using the LEDs on the Micro:Bits.

I chose to make this project because...

We are a school dedicated to opening doors for all of our children. Running a CodeClub enables our children to expand their computing knowledge exposing them to potentially explore a career in computing. We also have lots and lots and lots of fun. CodeClub is the highlight of our week!

What I found difficult and how I worked it out

Our club ran for an hour after school, we did not want the fun to end! Sometimes the internet connection let us down. We have definitely learnt how to be resilient!
