I chose to make this project because...My sister has asthma & loves ice hockey. Doctors said to quit, but TCM offered hope. Moxibustion is great but inconvenient for daily treatments at home. TCM books are complex & we lacked expertise. So I built an AI assistant! This project showed me the power of using AI to solve real problems.
What I found difficult and how I worked it outUsers describe symptoms vaguely and the AI needs to understand. Fuzzy search and semantics helped me find the best info for the AI's answers. But trust is key! I added a reference section so users can see why the AI suggested something, with links to full documents for even deeper understanding.
Next time, I would...Talking naturally to the app and getting clearer answers with multiple options! Expanding the TCM knowledge base with the latest research, videos, and pictures for clear understanding. A user community with experts would be amazing for sharing and learning.
