Doom Eternal 2.0

The Project

My game is inspired by another game called Doom Eternal. I've seen the gameplay of this game and I've also played it a few times and I thought maybe I can make a game just like this. It took me forever to make it a 3D Pixel shooting game where you're a warrior sent out on a mission to save the queen. It has over 700 lines of code I used Python and I also used a little bit of Block-Based coding to create Sprites. Overall I think I did a good job making this game and good luck to all the other contestants.

I chose to make this project because...

I chose to make it to show others that coding is all about having fun and having limitless possibilities. Coding is like a blank canvas where you are free to do whatever you want and that is why I chose to make this project.

What I found difficult and how I worked it out

Obviously for anything good or great you have to overcome challenges along the way. Some challenges that I encountered were bugs such as, being able to walk through walls, health bars still showing after sprites die, and etc. But, after testing over and over again I achieved my goal.

Next time, I would...

If I had more time I would add many things to my game.
