ESCMP: Environmentally Safe Computer Mouse Prototype
The Project
The ESCMP is a mouse aiming to help with environmental issues. Being entirely created by 3d printing parts and it only being held together by scotch tape.
Team Comments
We chose to make this project because...The whole group loves engineering and the environment, all believed that potentially causing a divot in pollution is something that should be strived for.
What we found difficult and how we worked it outWe found it difficult to create a mouse design that allows for it to be held together by tape. We went through a trial and error process until we came up with our ultimate design. Each design failure taught us something new.
Next time, we would...We would have liked to add programmable switches to the project. It makes it more difficult, being challenged is something the whole team loves to have.
