The Project

This is an open-world adventure game. You play as Bella, a resident of the Lovely City who wakes up one morning to find the city in tatters around her. There has been an earthquake and volcanic eruption. Help Bella to rebuild the Lovely City!

Team Comments

We enjoy playing open-world games that allow for world-building, exploration and collecting items, such as Animal Crossing. We wanted to make our own game that is similar to this bit with our own story and art style.

Trying to make the animations work smoothly and connect different tilemaps and levels together. We practiced drawing people in pixel art then applied it to the game. We asked our teacher for help and did some tutorial projects.

We are still working on our game and have lots more to add! This includes more levels, NPCs, dialogue options and the item collection and building mechanics. We are thinking about adding enemies as well as a companion pet.
