Pothole Driver

The Project

I live in Somerset (a county in the UK) where the roads have loads of potholes! And, as you can imagine, is very annoying if you've got lots of stuff in the car and it's all flying around. So I wanted to highlight this so that the council would do something about it. And what better way to highlight that than with a game? So I decided to create Pothole Driver, where you play as a car driving around Somerset, but with lots of potholes in the way.

To raise awareness about the amount of potholes on roads in Somerset.

Every time I added in a new feature, bugs and errors would occur. Which meant I had to spend at least five minutes debugging each and every bug, some of which were extremely challenging. My trick is to solve things step by step, and break things up into different sections.

Add in some cars, and debug some glitches.
