The Project

Lil' Bean is a frog in a world made of yarn and other craft materials. Lil' Bean's Crafted Land is a platformer game where the objective is to collect buttons, and avoid/defeat enemies as you complete levels and explore the Crafted Land.

We chose to make this project because...

I really like Lil' Bean. My inspiration for the character of Lil' Bean was inspired by a toy that one of my friends made for me. I wanted to bring Lil' Bean to life in his own world that he can explore.

What we found difficult and how we worked it out

The most difficult thing with making our game was making sure that it had saved correctly. We lost a lot of progress thinking that it had saved on the cloud when it hadn't. We solved this by making sure we saved backups every time we worked on the game.

Next time, we would...

We are continuing to develop the game - mainly focusing on adding storylines and more diverse enemies, obstacles and environments as Lil' Bean explores different parts of the Crafted Land.
