《Plants and Seeds》

The Project

Our work consists of 5 parts, including a theme display at the beginning, an introduction of seed composition, seed dissemination, plant growth, and 2 mini games, including planting plants, matching plants and their seeds. The inspiration for this work comes from studying photosynthesis in the nature course. We want to present this theme vividly and interestingly through Scratch. The work includes 5 themes, each involving many elements. In order to clarify their correlation and functionality, we used mind mapping tools to clarify the roles and backgrounds contained in each theme at first. To facilitate testing and error correction, we decided to use a large number of clones. Furthermore, we have created many cool dynamic effects by establishing mathematical formulas. 50 of our time was spent on debuging the errors that cause mislinks between diffenrent themes and elements. In our draft, the entire project should include 10 parts: 1. What Do Plants Need? 2. What Affects Plant Growth? 3.Parts of a Plant 4. Parts of a Plant: Quiz 5. Parts of a Seed 6. How Do Seeds Get Planted By Nature? 7. Seeds, Fruit and Plants: Quiz 8. Plant Life Cycle 9. Explore the Life Cycle of a potato 10. What is Photosynthesis? Because of the time limit, we just completed 4 parts.
