Our project FARM ASSIST helps the farmer with Automatic irrigation, calculating the water level of the borewell and measuring the temperature and humidity of the atmosphere assisting the farmer in growing the right kind of crop.

We chose to make this project because...

Most countries in the world have technological advancements, especially in agriculture. But some developing countries like India do not have those technologies despite having more population and arable land so our project makes everything available at a affordable rate for the farmers.

What we found difficult and how we worked it out

We found more difficulties while doing the project, especially in the coding. At first learning Python was a very difficult task. We struggled a lot in the coding part when we decided to show the output of our project in an open-source IOT platform. we referred books and websites to solve them.

As said we have a lot of features in our project but as we were committed to our final exams we started this project a little bit late At the initial stage of drafting of the project. We had 2 to 3 additional features which were: AI PLANT RECOGNITION SYSTEM, IOT , PH CALCULATOR
