The Project

This project is a ping pong game, where the ball acts as a piece of litter and is being thrown into the bin (the latticed lined behind-recycling bin).

Team Comments

I chose to make this project because I realised that there were many pieces of litter carelessly being thrown on the streets. The consequences of this can be fatal for life on earth, especially for sealife. I want to make people more aware, yet in a fun way so they pay attention.

I found making the ball move and get one singular point when it goes off the table difficult but I worked it out by experimenting different methods e.g. with different settings of degrees for the direction

If I had more time, I would introduce a currency that you earn by playing lots and can be spent on powerups. I would add progressively harder levels, with each one teaching you about a certain problem in the world. I would add sounds to it and a feature where you customise the racquets.
