According to a study, 81% of people dispose of their e-waste in an improper manner, not realizing its consequences-waste comes back to them in the form of toxic fumes and polluted water. Our company is here to cure this growing problem with our android application Cleeo. It aims to dispose of e-trash in an eco-friendly manner by providing an end to end connection between the e-waste producers and its authorized recycler. The process begins when the user posts an ad of e-waste by publishing the trash's details. Once it is posted they will wait for the recycler to contact them. The recycler can view the posted ads on their dashboard and accept them for pickup. He will then collect the e-waste form user’s doorstep and will be giving a reasonable price for the same.Today, the electronics industry competes by introducing new products at a blistering pace. The electronics industry is the world’s largest and fastest growing manufacturing industry. There is a new product every day in the market. This rapid growth in the electronics industry is proving to be very expensive for the environment. 50 million tons of e-waste is generated worldwide. Out of which, hardly 12% of total global e-waste generation gets treated by the authorized electronic takeback systems. To combat this deadly issue, we present our app ‘Cleeo’ that acts as an interface between the producers of e-waste (common people) and its authorized recyclers (those who recycle it in an eco-friendly manner). The process begins when user posts an ad of e-waste by publishing its details. Then they will wait for the recycler to contact them. The recycler can view the posted ads on their dashboard and accept them for pickup. He will then collect the e-waste form user’s doorstep and will be giving a reasonable price for the same. Therefore, through this people will be able to recycle their e-waste in an eco-friendly manner.
