The Project

The smart city project is designed with many modern functions such as smart garden system, patrol robot, smart trash can. The smart city also has a lighting system that automatically turns on/off when it gets dark. Air quality measurement alerts on IoT dashboard and Teregam app, AI recognition Smart garden updates light, temperature, humidity to observe the growth of plants. There is an AI recognition system that detects well-developed plants and diseased plants. The smart garden is equipped with an automatic control system via IOT to observe the growth of plants. The patrol robot follows a fixed road frame to patrol the neighborhood, is equipped with an AI recognition camera to observe objects on the road, if there is an obstacle the robot will stop. The smart trash can automatically opens and closes when someone approaches, uses sound and light to notify when the trash is full, then sends a notification via teregarm. The equipment used for the project includes Yolo-bit circuit, light sensor, temperature sensor, humidity sensor, air quality sensor, distance sensor, robot

We chose to make this project because...

The first reason is we have the desire to live in a smart, modern city that ensures everyone's health. The second reason is we have a passion in computer programming and we love to explore and create interesting things.

What we found difficult and how we worked it out

We have difficulties in finding and purchasing the project's hardware devices when we do the demo. Devices are not yet stable and easy to damage during product testing. We fixed it by trying out the features first, and then adding them to the general program. we need to be careful and meticulous

Next time, we would...

We further tweaked the AI recognition to make it work more accurately. We also added some features about unmanned vehicles, monitoring traffic with cameras.
