The Project

The problem we have worked on is- • Earthquakes account for the majority of deaths from a range of natural disasters which amounts to about 60,000 people a year worldwide – around 90 percent of which occur in developing countries. Existing solutions and their issues Seismograph • Quite expensive to buy • difficult to utilize. • When an earthquake occurs, it does not emit a beeping sound. Our Project- A device in which the buzzer starts buzzing when it senses ground motion during an earthquake and the seismograph will also work. An app in which there are: 1. Safety measures 2. Emergency Phone Numbers 3. Prognoses Our Project points to 2 sustainable development goals which are • GOAL 13: Climate Action • GOAL 15: Life on Land
