The Project

This project is a smart cabinet that can help preserve seeds in agriculture. Ensuring the quality of seeds will help plants germinate well, grow quickly, limit pests and high yields. The product works by sterilizing, balancing the temperature and humidity of the storage environment.

Vietnam has tropical climate with a lot of rain makes it difficult to store seeds. Therefore, we created a smart cabinet that ventilates, adjusts the appropriate humidity and temperature, and disinfects harmful bacteria to prevent mold and unwanted germination to help farmers preserve seeds.

We have difficulty in programming on the micro:bit circuit, because most of the instructions are in English. We tried to read more of the textbook and ask the instructor for help.

We plan to scale up the product range in the future: larger product size, more integrated functions, divided compartments to store a variety of seeds with different temperature requirements and humidity. From there we will expand the scale of use in agriculture.
