Panda

The Project

The purpose of my project is to make everyone more aware of the safety of endangered species. My solution is to create a game that should make my player learn about endangered species, and I chose a panda as my main character because pandas symbolize endangered species. In the game Panda, the player will manipulate a panda and try to survive as long as possible. Several factors will cause the death of the panda, for example, a car accident, predator, hunter, etc. After each death, a fact sheet will pop out that will tell the user about the human reason that caused the panda's death and what they can do to prevent that from happening. For example, if a panda dead in a car accident, then the fact sheet will tell the player that each year in the U.S., there are 1 to 2 million wildlife deaths from car accidents, and supporting the Roadless Rule can help reduce car accidents. My proposed solution still needs to be validated because few people have played or know about my game. In the future, when more people play my game, I will survey whether my solution works.
