The Project

My app has two sides. the admin coach side and the users. The coach (admin) makes their team members account. The coach will enter their email, name, student id, and the password. When the student account are made, the student page where they see the events, the storage of data is in firebase, where emails and the student id is stored.

I created Tion Sport as a way to encourage students to again gain interest in school sports by making it easy for schools and students to engage and participate using my app. Students participating in sports are important to the academic success and health of many students.

The biggest challenge is learning the frame work and the new language. The flutter framework allows me to write code for both android and ios devices. The language we use is Dart. I never used flutter and Dart before so it is completely new to me. I have to learn this in a short time.

While the application can competently serve its purpose, there is still room for improvement. There is a known bug that can cause the event page to not work as intended, which is something that can be analyzed and fixed in the future. The application’s user interface could also be greatly improved.
