Automatic Door Locking System it is used to provide security access to room and building. The system identifies authorized users through their fingerprints and unlocks the door automatically. This project is aimed at providing a secure and convenient way of controlling access in the society. If the user want to access the door first the user want to register his fingerprint. When the user want to access his door the user has to place his fingerprint through the optical sensor. Then the door will unlock

Team Comments

We choose to make this project to address the security issues faced in our society . With the increasing need for security measures we want to create a system that eliminates the risk of unauthorized access and ensure safety for the people and their belongings.

One of the challenges we faced was integrating the fingerprint sensor with the Arduino Uno and ensuring that it recognizes fingerprints accurately. We overcome this challenge by consulting with the sensors datasheet and fine tuning the programming codes.

If we have more time , we would add a feature that alerts the user when an unauthorized attempt is made to access the door. We would also explore the use of facial recognition technology to enhance the security of the system.
