The Project

Hand cricket is a game which is loved and played and is considered to be a 'cool' game by most children nowadays. However it is a game not only for children but also can be enjoyed by people of any age group. After all this is a nice game played using fingers. If both the bowler and batsman shows the same finger, he / she is out and if not, the number denoted by the batsman through his fingers are added to his score. One can say this as a mode refreshment, way of losing stress, bringing happiness, increasing logical strength and the capability to read opponent's mind and strategy, increasing concentration, increasing memory, etc. However, in the physical game there are certain drawbacks. The first drawback is that if one does not count his / her score then there is always a possibility of problem. Also another drawback is that whether the person will perform a correct calculation or not. For example, if the person is not good at calculations there will be surely a problem. If the person counting is from any one of the two sides, he / she may provide a wrong data in order to make their team / their best friend's team win. The next point is not quite a drawback but a problem, which most of the children face. The problem is that it may be that the child wants to play hand cricket but he is in such a place, position or time, where he has no partner to play it with. This is where my project comes into effect. It provides cool features to play as many games and series against the computer. The player can view series statistics or end up the series whenever he/she wants to just by clicking the "Check The Series Scorecard" button. Also once when a series is ended, a champions' trophy will be given to the winner or if draw, it will show 'cup shared'. But if the series aggregate is 0-0, i.e. no game is played, it will not allow to end the series. Also after the player ends playing a series, he can return back to start playing one more series. Also if the player has a friend to play with but cannot meet, can also play against each other by using the "Challenge A Friend" and "Accept A Challenge" buttons. The thing used to uniquely identify a game are the secret code and the favourite number. These are the only 2 things which a friend needs to share with his friends to accept the challenge. After the game is over, in case of friend challenge, the winner is awarded a trophy. However for personal benefit of players, these two buttons can be dragged and placed anywhere the player wants to. Also for original ground-like feeling, appropriate sounds and background images are also used. Now comes the main thing. Suppose while playing, a player had an emergency and had to leave the game for some reason, he/she can simply click on the "Stop Game" button, which will stop the game without affecting to the series. However that's not all. There are many more cool features. So without wasting much more time, go and play the game and discover yourself. Hope you would like it because this is not only a game for children, but also can be enjoyed by people of all ages....

Hand cricket is quite a "cool" popular game. But as mentioned in Project Description there are certain drawbacks in the physical game. Therefore I chose this topic to resolve these problems.

Before starting any project, it seems to be quite easy. But as you start you fall into the trap of a chain of difficulties. Similarly, before starting, it seemed quite easy, but as started with, due to some logical errors or buffering, certain things had to be reconstructed.

Of course I would have liked to add the features recommended by the players themselves, my teachers, friends, parents, relatives and from other people as well, if I had more time.
