Poko's Taco Spree
Poko's Taco Spree is a player vs mob game. The objective of my game is for the player to collect as many Tacos as possible to gain points and gain a higher score while trying to avoid the hostile Mobs. The game will continue endlessly and increase in difficulty and Mob count for every three Tacos collected until the player dies. The game will start with one Mob which will increase in speed every level. Once the player survives all three speeds of the first Mob, another Mob will spawn and all Mobs will revert to the original speed and this will keep going until the player dies. There will also be powerups the player can collect which can be used to shoot the Mobs.

One of the most difficult parts of the project was coding the random movements of the Mobs and allowing them to navigate the map properly. After several trials, I decided to calculate the square size of the grid of the map to coordinate the Mobs' movement according to the grid.Next time, I would...
If I had more time, I would try to refine the Mobs' random movement as they often tend to crowd onto one area of the map which makes the game less efficient. I would also add more maps, a pause button, and more powerups, such as temporary speed or invincibility.
