Translator Extension for Google Chrome

The Project

Across the world, we have many people who unfortunately cannot read/write. They speak their local languages but usually don’t understand other languages like Hindi or English. For example: A farmer in Punjab may understand only Punjabi, also they might be unable to read/write in Punjabi. With the demand of high yield farming, farmers need to adapt to new techniques of farming. Google is a great option to gather this information. But, with the limitation of reading/writing a farmer may be unable to implement or learn these options. A system is required with following capabilities: - Voice based search (built into Google) - Results in local language - Text to speech option to read search results (with highlighting) - Web page should be translated in local language and same text to speech option available Github Repo: https://github.com/grobo021/translator-tool
