The Project

We want people to be aware about the pre-diabetic conditions. The people can check if they are pre-diabetic or not through an AI trained model that collects various inputs from the user and retrains itself for correct outputs. It is based on NLP (Natural Language Processing) domain of AI (Artificial Intelligence). Key Features - Early detection of diabetes. Plate method of diet. Daily requirement per food group. Do’s and Don’ts for a diabetic person. How to add variety in meals.

I chose to make this project because...

Diabetes is fast gaining the status of a potential epidemic in India with more than 62 million diabetic individuals currently diagnosed with the disease. To help people get aware about diabetes and symptoms of pre diabetic conditions we are working on this app.

What I found difficult and how I worked it out

The primary challenge while developing this app was to collect the raw data required for machine learning, so that the app could give correct outputs. I looked onto different surveys, biology based studies to gather the required info.

We would like to further improve the machine learning model, add more parameters and add this application on a web based platform.
