Geometry Scratch Platformer Game

The Project

The objective of this platformer game is to complete each level in the smallest number of attempts possible. Each level has various obstacles (called spikes) and things that can help you or send you the wrong way.

Team Comments

We choose this project because we like to have fun and program our own games. We made 11 levels and would have made more but we were busy testing them...

It was difficult to program all events, especially jumping because there were so many orbs in some levels - when you touch an orb, you can jump from mid air. We worked it out using broadcast to start the program stack and variables to know what kind of orb the player jumped from and when to stop.

It would be interesting to make a scrolling platform game instead of a static one with separate screens.
