The Project

PLANT SAVIOUR is an Arduino Uno based project to help eradicate problem of proper watering of plants. It is immensely useful in watering indoor plants and also when the plants go unattended when owners are on vacations.

My grandmother is fond of gardening as well as travelling. While traveling her worries for her plants motivated me to consider and make this project.

To set up the minimum level of moisture when plants have to be supplied with water, was the most difficult task for me. I consulted my gardener uncle and one of his other gardener friend and finally decided on the minimum levels of moisture for the plants.

I wanted to harvest rain water, preserve it and use it to water plants through PLANT SAVIOUR when there is no rain, if had more time to work on this project.
