The Project

This is a Pokémon inspired game for people to enjoy. Take your turn in pressing attacks to damage the opponent. Each attack does a different amount of damage, so make sure to use the right attacks!

Team Comments

We chose to make this project because we were inspired by the other Scratch games created in last year's coolest project entries, so we wanted to make our own! We enjoy playing Pokémon games, so this seemed like a great place to start.

We found figuring out how to make the attacks damage the opponent. We had to do a lot of debugging. We found that we had coded the attack to 'go to' instead of 'glide one second to' which made the attack go way to fast. We were really proud when we debugged this issue.

We would have loved to add an ending to the game if we had more time. We would also have loved to add more characters. Next time, we would want to create a completely original game with our own character designs.
