I will develop a program that can define whether the plant needs water or not by complaring the dirt and the leaves of the plant.
Team Comments
I chose to make this project because...Agriculture is the world's biggest user of freshwater.This sector accounts for 70 percent of all use around the world, according to the World Water Assessment Program. The purpose of doing this project is to save water and to prevent plants from overwatering and dried up.
What I found difficult and how I worked it outOne major difficulty in making this project is to train the AI in order for it to tell if the dirt is dry or not. I finally decide to train using thousands of pictures.
Next time, I would...If I had more time, I would like to connect my app with a water pipe so it will be more simple to use and will not require any effort and time putting on for the user.
