The Project

I made a smart safe that has a keypad to accept passwords and then if it is correct it will open a lock inside. It will also take a picture and email it to you.

I chose to make this project because...

I wanted to have a place to keep my stuff that would be safe and only I can control who can access it.

What I found difficult and how I worked it out

I had made the circuit but making the actual box was quite challenging. I overcame this by using an old filing cabinet that came with a lid.

Next time, I would...

I would use a distance sensor to lock the safe automatically in case I forgot to and I might add facial recognition to let some people in without the need for them to type a password.
