TGSW Birds fly
The Project
Birds fly by flapping their wings to generate lift and thrust, utilizing specialized, lightweight, and aerodynamic body structures. Wings are shaped like airfoils—curved on top and flatter below—which causes air to move faster over the top, creating lower pressure and lifting the bird upward. Powerful chest muscles drive the flapping, while tail feathers assist in steering and stability
