Auto Door Lock

The Project

It's a door lock but it doesn't need keys. The door can lock and unlock on its own. It can be unlocked by typing the correct pin or by scanning the allowed/valid card, then it unlocks the door and after 10 seconds the door locks itself so you don't have to do anything. It uses Arduino and requires 15 Volts to operate. It uses a mini servo to lock and unlock the sliding door lock handle.

Normal Door Locks are good at the job but now, it's time to go techier. In my house, some of my doors didn't have locks so I made myself one.

Making sure all pins are inserted correct ones and coding was the most difficult one. Also, keep the connections tight and secure so no there is no loose connection and short circuits. I used some tape to secure the connection! Simple and easy!

I want to add a fingerprint scanner and remote control connection so I can unlock the door from the bed when someone knocks on my door if they don't have a card to scan or don't know the pin. Also, I want to put priority levels that allow the door lock to either open or not if I am busy.
