Climate action often feels disconnected from our daily routines. EcoSphere bridges that gap by turning sustainability into an engaging, rewarding experience. Built with a focus on privacy and performance, EcoSphere features: Smart Movement Tracking: A custom tracking engine that analyzes GPS speed and accelerometer variance to differentiate between walking, cycling, and motorized transport in real-time, rewarding green travel with CO₂ offset points. On-Device Bill Scanning: Utilizing Google ML Kit, the app securely and instantly scans electricity bills offline to extract kWh usage and calculate household emissions without relying on paid APIs. Gamified Eco-Action: A real-time global leaderboard ranks top "Eco Warriors." Users unlock dynamic achievements based on their milestones, which are proudly displayed on public profiles. disclaimer (plz read judge): Ai was used to format code in the making of this project, but not to create, design, or implement new features. all current functionality is a result from human effort with a little AI help to make contributing to this -open source- project a bit easier for junior devs in the future
