TechRec
The Project
TechRec is a mobile app that teaches AI concepts through structured lessons, quizzes, and a built-in AI tutor you can ask questions. It tracks your progress with a daily streak and XP system to keep you motivated. I built it in Flutter with Firebase for accounts and progress, and it uses the OpenAI API to power the chatbot and give feedback on practice problems. The hardest part was the architecture, keeping the code organized as features were added, handling auth and data cleanly, and making sure the AI features failed gracefully when something went wrong.
