Precalculus Tools

The Project

Having used technology in every part of my daily life, it was the obvious choice to turn to when I faced difficulties during my first trigonometry unit in precalculus. I knew I wasn't the only one struggling to remember which values belonged to which angles, so I decided to build a website with a tool that allows users to quickly find values by inputting just one known value and automatically calculating the others. I provided the AI with every single detail of how I want this website to work, and continued to make adjustments until I got the website to function as I wanted it to. In the beginning, it made the website so that the users weren't able to add their own equation, so I asked the AI where I could modify code so that the users are able to input their own equation, and I further prompted the AI about where I can fix the code to let there be an output even if they omit an asterisk(multiplication symbol), making it even more user friendly. Once the first tool was working, I realized I could expand the website to create tools that would help me throughout the entire semester. By developing these tools, I not only improved my coding skills, but also found that precalculus became much easier. After I was done, I put my website into render to make it into a permanent, and public website.
