Ambulance Game
The Project
We are learners from Ebunangwe Junior School Coding Club. Before creating our game, we first built an ambulance lights project using a Pico microprocessor. That project excited us and pushed us to think about how we could turn the same idea into an interactive game. This motivation led us to design the Ambulance Rescue Game using Scratch 3.0. We drew all the sprites ourselves, designing characters and objects that fit our rescue mission story. In coding, we used motion, sensing, variables, cloning, broadcasting, and timer blocks. We were partially guided by our teacher Mr. Bilishi, who helped us understand the logic when we got stuck, but most of the problem-solving was done by us as a team. The game helped us combine creativity, logic, and problem-solving in a fun and meaningful way. We are proud of what we created and also shared our journey through an original poem titled “This is Our Code Club.” We sincerely thank the Raspberry Pi Foundation, Futures Infinite and the Scratch Community for inspiring us to keep learning, building, and improving our ideas.
